We all have a new set of chips.
The yellow card suspension threshold is now 10.
Riccardo Calafiori is ruled out of Gameweek 20.
Iraola is expecting Antoine Semenyo to play for Bournemouth this gameweek.
βWe donβt know yet. We have another session today [Friday]β¦β - Arteta on Declan Riceβs swollen knee injury.
π Keep β Buy β Sell β Avoid
- β
KEEP
- Phil Foden (Β£9.0m) β 3 games without a return;- Tempting to sell. But remember, before this poor run, he went 3 consecutive games scoring braces for fun. He is highly owned overall, & there are no good alternatives. Keep him until good premium midfield options present themselves.
- Thiago (Β£7.0m) β I still maintain; There are not many good strikers apart from Haaland, so don't waste a transfer on Thiago as other striker options are not interesting. Ekitike is not scoring. Bowen is not that much better than Thiago. Only sell for Bowen if your team has no other issues.
- π BUY/MONITOR
- Jarrod Bowen (Β£7.6m) β Just scored against Brighton. Is facing Wolves next, who are the worst defence in the league and will be desperate to win against West Ham. There surely will be spaces to attack for Bowen, as Wolves is at home and will be very adventorous going forward.
- Gabriel (Β£6.4m) - Between GWs 1 and 11, he was the highest-scoring defender in the game. After a brief injury layoff, he returned in GW19 β and immediately reminded us why heβs elite, finishing as the highest-scoring defender of the GW.
- I believe it is okay to take a -4 hit to get him this GW if its your only route. He just punished those who hesitated to buy him in GW19. He might again score a goal and get another 15-pointer; this potential and pedigree justifies a -4 point hit; considering he's facing Bournemouth(leaky defence).
- β SELL
- Semenyo (Β£7.7m) β Facing Arsenal, best defence in the league. He is highly rumoured to leave for City. This uncertainty alone is enough to sell him and distribute the funds to another good mid like Rogers. With all these, he is too expensive to keep in your team.
- Marc Guehi (Β£5.3m) β Still the most owned defender; yet continues to blank (4 games in a row). He iss too expensive to keep in your team without giving u returns. Crystal Palace have been among the worst defences in the last 1 month and don't seem to get better. Therefore, sell Guehi for Gabriel.
- β AVOID
- Palmer - Though he scored against Bournemouth a pen; Chelsea face City next. They have many uncertainties with Maresca leaving them. His minutes might still be managed in the near future. Chelsea is in a very bad run of form. Therefore, wait on Palmer, until their form & fixtures improve.
- Don't buy players who get poor minutes in their teams and are prone to rotation. If the player you are eyeing falls into either of these 2 brackets, He is an 'AVOID'.
π― Low-Owned Differentials
π Bowen - 8.5% - Just scored against Brighton. Is facing Wolves next, who are the worst defence in the league and will be desperate to win against West Ham. There surely will be spaces to attack for Bowen, as Wolves is at home and will be very adventorous going forward.
Calvert Lewin β 10.3%
Before blanking against Liverpool, he had scored in 6 straight games. He is facing a leaky Man United defence that just conceded against Wolves, the worst attack in the league. Leeds is at home and will most likely revert back to their more attacking 4-3-3 formation. He's an excellent differential in GW20.
Welbeck β 4.8 %
Started against West Ham, got 2 pens and missed 1 of them. He is still likely on pens despite the miss. He faces Burnley at home, which is among the worst defences in the league.
Van Hecke - Brighton Def β 4.4 %
He faces Burnley at home, which is among the worst attacks in the league. He has scored 2 goals this season and had an assist, not too long ago. He is surely a threat and a target for his team on set pieces.
Ultra Differential Pick (Under 1 % Ownership)
Zirkzee β 0.5 %
Scored against Wolves and will likely start against Leeds. Though Leeds have been good defensively of late, Zirkzee is a very good punt as there are not many good strikers who are in form apart from Haaland and Calvert Lewin. If you are using your free hit in GW 20, punt on Zirkzee against Leeds.
π GW19: Best captain picks
If you have Haaland and are comfortable with your current rank, just captain Haaland. He is the safest yet still the most explosive captain pick in the game. He blanked against Sunderland as it was a tough place to visit. Sunderland drew with Arsenal, beat Chelsea, and drew with Liverpool. It was going to be a tough game for Haaland to score. SUN have been turning up against these teams at home.
If u want to climb up the overall rank quickly; below are my next 3 captain options who are not Haaland, and who might easily outscore Haaland this GW:
- Saka - Faces Bournemouth who are conceding chances and goals for fun. They play basketball matches instead of football, if u know u know. I cannot remember their last clean sheet. And Arsenal is off from putting 4 past Aston Villa, 1 of the best teams in the league. Saka will have some fun this GW.
- Gabriel - Between GWs 1 and 11, he was the highest-scoring defender in the game. After a brief injury layoff, he returned in GW19 β and immediately reminded us why heβs elite, finishing as the highest-scoring defender of the GW. Arsenal faces Bournemouth & Liverpool next...

- Bowen - Just scored against Brighton. Is facing Wolves next, who are the worst defence in the league. Wolves have completed the first half of the season without a single clean sheet, while conceding more goals than any other side. Bowen is West Hamβs primary goal threat, penalty-box runner, and big-game performer all in one.
Wolves rank in the bottom for every key defensive metric:
βοΈ Verdict: Captain Haaland;
If chasing rank, captain Saka 1st / Gabriel 2nd / Bowen 3rd.
