News & Injury Updates
This is your last gameweek to use your 1st Free Hit, so use it and get a boost in your overall rank.
Gabriel returns for Arsenal after a more than 1-month absence and is likely to start in GW 19.
According to verified sources, Jurrien Timber's absence in GW18 was just precautionary and a matter of reducing his load.
Marc Cucurella was withdrawn during Chelsea's game vs Aston Villa due to a hamstring issue.
π Keep β Buy β Sell β Avoid
- β
KEEP
- Bruno GuimarΓ£es (Β£7.0m) β Newcastleβs fixtures are great for the next 4, playing Burnley, Leeds, and Wolves in that run. He is not a priority sell ahead of such a nice fixture run. Only sell if you have many free transfers.
- Thiago (Β£7.0m) β He got an assist and 5 points last gameweek and is approaching a run of 5 good fixtures that include SUN, NFO, TOT, EVE. There are not many good strikers apart from Haaland, so don't waste a transfer on Thiago as other striker options are not interesting.
- π BUY/MONITOR
- Lewis Hall (Β£5.2m) β Newcastle play BUR, LEE, WOL, CRY in the next 4, that is the best fixture run in the whole league. Lewis Hall is very attacking and plays almost like an Attacking Midfielder, and these upcoming teams are the perfect teams for a fullback like Hall to get returns.
- Gordon (Β£7.4m) β Same reasons as for buying Hall. Only downside is that Gordon is a very high risk - high return pick; as 1 game he may start and play 90 mins, and the next game he is benched. If you are a risk-happy manager and want a 4-week punt, buy Gordon. He may score a hat trick in one of these 4 games.
- Gabriel (Β£6.2m) - He is back fit and got some mins against Brighton. He will most likely start against Villa as this is one of the most important games of the season for Arsenal. He has huge goal threat at set pieces too.
- β SELL
- Senesi (Β£4.8m) β Bournemouth is rn one of the worst defences in the EPL. They were scored 4 goals by United and also Brentford in the last month, and face Chelsea next at Stamford, and Arsenal thereafter. Sell Senesi and buy either Gabriel, Hall or Keane.
- Chris Richards (Β£4.5m) β Crystal Palace face FUL, NEW, VILLA, SUN, CHE in their next 5. He is also an injury doubt.
- β AVOID
- Wirtz - After Leeds, Liv have 2 consecutive away games at Fulham and at Arsenal. Gakpo and Szoboszlai are also back and they will definitely eat into the minutes of Wirtz. Benchings & Early subs are on the, trust me, on top of these tough fixtures, after Leeds, which isn't even an easy fixture for Liv.
- Don't buy players who get poor minutes in their teams and are prone to rotation. If the player you are eyeing falls into either of these 2 brackets, He is an 'AVOID'.
π― Low-Owned Differentials
π Gabriel - 14.2% - At 14%, he is a differential at whatever your rank is, Not many engaged managers have him, they all sold him and are struggling to buy him back. So, if u have an easy route to him, take it immediately. His ownership will climb massively in the next few weeks.
Dorgu β 6.0%
He is a (Β£4.1m) defender who is playing as a RW for United and just came off a 17-pointer against Newcastle where he scored a goal and played RW. The next 3 fixtures are WOL, LEE, BUR. No-Brainer differential. Buy him for next 3 only.
Lewis Hall β 5.2 Def β 2.2 %
He is very attacking and plays for a Newcastle side that is facing Burnley, Palace, and Leeds in the next 3. He is nailed to start these 3 games because Burn and Livramento are both out and injured.
Cunha - United Mid β 12.8 %
Plays Wolves, Leeds & Burnley in the next 3. He is surely on penalties with Bruno being out. If you want to climb up your mini-leagues really fast. Take a gamble on this man as the easy fixtures are a platform for him to get really massive returns.
Ultra Differential Pick (Under 2 % Ownership)
Schade β Brentford Mid β 1.6 %
Scored a hat trick last GW and is nailed to start striker alongside Thiago, until Outtarra is back from AFCON. He is getting more big chances, more shots on target, higher XG than Thiago. He faces Spurs, Eve, Sun next 3, all bad defences. There is something called "form" in football.
π GW19: Best captain picks
If you have Haaland and are comfortable with your current rank, just captain Haaland. He is the safest yet still the most explosive captain pick in the game. The highest scoring player in the game , with the best attacking data in the game.
However, if you want to chase your mini-league rival and overtake them, or u want to climb up the overall rank quickly; below are my next 3 captain options who are not Haaland, and who might easily outscore Haaland this GW:
- Cunha - He is at home to Wolves. He has had 4 goal involvements in Man United's last 4 games. He has penalties, as Bruno is out. United is at home and is expected to easily beat Wolves comfortably, just like in the reverse fixture where they scored 4 goals against Wolves.
- Ekitike - he plays Leeds at home and is among the most in form players in the league. He has scored 2 consecutive braces, followed by 1 goal, followed by 1 assist, in his last 4 games. Liverpool is in a hot run of form and is expected to beat Leeds or at least score against Leeds. Even if Leeds draw or beat Liverpool. This game will likely have goals on both sides.
- Woltemade/Gordon/Plamer -These are the spicy, very high risk - high return picks. If u have any of these 3 and are aggressively chasing rank and points. Try your luck with either of these. They all have reduced minutes due to Wissa, Barnes, and Enzo Fernandes respectively sharing mins with them. However, Palmer might actually get 90 mins against Bournemouth as he has gotten enough mins over the last few games to bring him back to full fitness.
Chelsea will surely score against Bournemouth, as BOU have been 1 of the worst defences of late. Newcastle too are expected to score against, and beat Burnley at Turf Moor.
βοΈ Verdict: Captain Haaland; If chasing rank, captain Cunha/Ekitike/Newcastle;
