🔁 Keep – Buy – Sell – Avoid
- ✅ KEEP
- Donnarumma (£5.7m) - why would you ditch a nailed, premium, set-and-forget starter from the second-best defence in the league? Ever since Donnarumma took over in GW4, Man City rank:
- 2nd for Shots on Target Conceded
- 2nd for Big Chances Conceded
- 2nd for Clean Sheets
- Woltemade (£7.5m) — Woltemade remains a strong hold. He faces a Sunderland side that hasn’t kept a single clean sheet since GW9, making this a favourable fixture for attackers. He has scored in 3 of his last 4 away games and 2 of his last 3 EPL matches.
- 🛒 BUY/MONITOR
- Saka (£10.2m) — Wolves sit at the bottom of the league for goals conceded (33) and XG conceded (22.9), their defence is the worst. Arsenal, second in goals scored, face the easiest fixture in FPL, and Saka stands out as the player most likely to benefit.
- Harry Wilson (£5.3m) — In the last three gameweeks, Wilson has been in scintillating form—ranked 3rd for FPL points, goal involvements, assists, and BPS. His consistent attacking returns make him one of the most in-form midfielders. He faces Burnley(last in nearly every defensive metric.
- ❌ SELL
- Mohamed Salah (£14.0m) — With form dipping, minutes collapsing, and his Liverpool future under question, the opportunity cost of holding Salah is just too high. In FPL, he's a straightforward sell.
- Daniel Muñoz (£6.0m) - The Crystal Palace right-back is set to undergo knee surgery and is expected to be sidelined for around 4 to 6 weeks, with recovery timelines and fitness still uncertain after the procedure.
- ⛔ AVOID
- We are entering a very tricky fixture period with heavy fixture congestion in all club competitions. The next International Break is in March. This is the period to avoid payers who are injury doubts and injury prone.
- This is also especially the period to not buy players who get poor minutes in their teams and are prone to rotation. If the player you are eyeing falls into either of these 2 brackets, He is an 'AVOID'.
🎯 Low-Owned Differentials
Joachim Andersen - Fulham - £4.6 – 4.4 %
Only 2 defenders have gotten more Defcon points than him all season. He averages 10.92 defensive contributions per game. Fulham face Burnley, Forest, and West Ham. All 3 are in the Bottom 4 for Goals scored & Big Chances created.
Cole Palmer - £10.3 - 9.9%
With 29 and 57 minutes in the last 2 Gameweeks and a night off in Midweek, he should be good for a start against Everton. We know what Palmer is capable of when he is fully fit. He is Chelsea’s talisman, is on set-pieces and penalties.
Harry Wilson (£5.3m) - 3.0%
Over the last 3 games, he has scored 2 Goals and 2 Assists and got 26 FPL Points. Wilson has set-pieces, and goal threat from open play, he looks a great short-term buy as Fulham sit top of the fixture ticker for the next 3 Gameweeks.
Nathan Collins - Brentford - (£4.9m) - 1.2%
With Brentford starting their great run of fixtures against Leeds and Wolves, this week is the best entry point for Brentford. Collins is a great option for Defcon points as he has got them in 8 of the 15 Games so far this season.
Dango Ouattara - Brentford - (£6.0m) mid- 1.5%
Ouattara will be a 1-week punt as he will depart for AFCON after GW16. He has started all the matches since GW8. He has 3 Goals and 4 Assists this season. He recently hauled against Burnley, and he could do the same against Leeds in GW16.
Ultra Differential Pick (Under 1 % Ownership)
Piero Hincapie – Arsenal – £5.4 Def – 0.9 %
Hincapie has started the last 4 Gameweeks and has picked up Defcon in the last 2 Gameweeks. Arsenal faces Wolves who are yet to win a game this season. They sit in the Bottom 3 for most attacking metrics.
👑 GW16 Captaincy:Triple Captain Saka?
Bukayo Saka (home vs Wolves). Saka has arguably the best fixture of the season, and his numbers have been very good. Only Fernandes has better expected goal contributions than Saka over the last six gameweeks (& Saka has played fewer minutes in that time). He’s on pens, and his ability to return defensive contributions is overlooked. Wolves are 3rd bottom for xGA, bottom for goals conceded and have conceded 11 goals in their last 5 matches. If you have him = Captain him; I would even triple captain him!
If you don't have Saka, you can put your armband on Haaland(Away at Palace); or Bruno(Home to Bournemouth); or Thiago(Home to Leeds); IN THAT ORDER.
A good captaincy is often determined by luck though. Man City might win a couple of penalties; United might thrash Bournemouth at Old Trafford, etc.
⚖️ Verdict: Triple Captain Saka. Followed by the other 3 options in that order.

🃏 GW 16: Use all 5 free transfers?
There are a lot of transfers being made this week because we have 5 of them, but take this: Just because you have 5 free transfers, doesn’t mean you have to use them. Use at most 3 transfers and save 2 for next GWs.
There is a big fixture swing in GW18 e.g. Liverpool, Everton, City, who all start a good run of Christmas fixtures. You will surely need to save at least 2 of your 5 free transfers and acummulate them to 5 free transfers by GW18 so you can react to the fixture swing; and buy Isak/Ekitike, Szoboszlai, Pickford, Palmer, etc.
Verdict: Use 2 or 3 free transfers. Be ready for future injuries, fixture swings, etc.
If you’re looking to immediately profit from a big haul with one of your free transfers, then it’s in midfield where you should invest. The table below shows the 16 players who have produced at least 3 double-figure returns. it's midfielders who dominate overall, occupying 10 of the 16 places. This suggests that a move to 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 could prove productive, benching your 3rd forward each Gameweek, & spending low budget on that player.

The recent displays of Phil Foden and Bruno Fernandes have shown the huge potential on offer from midfielders in Fantasy.
